A consultancy of IT professionals that designs, installs and supports computer networks.
- Making technology work for you
- Bringing you solutions
- Supporting your people
- Complementing your business
For over 20 years we have been not-for-profit and small business IT specialists, making it our business to support your business. We are a leading provider of IT to charities (particularly in the arts sector) working with big names and small, as well as with other small businesses and commercial clients.
Cara Networks has site engineers working full-time in London, with our main offices in Milton Keynes, from where we support clients throughout the country.
Typically, not many of the organisations we support have any internal staff members that are dedicated to full-time IT support – some of our clients might not even be able to define technically what we do for them on a day-to-day basis.
Generally speaking, we act just as an internal IT department or IT Manager would do. We actively manage and maintain physical and virtual IT networks, server-client model or Cloud-based, and provide all support required for the client’s individual circumstances. We respond to administration and fault-resolution calls to our helpdesk and keep servers and networks audited, up-to-date and functioning, as error-free and with as little down time as possible.
We also provide ongoing systems consultancy and advice as required, with the benefit of nearly 20 years in the not-for-profit sector.
Achieving IT compliance can often be a regarded a time-consuming and difficult-to-achieve goal that is a ‘should do’ if time and budget allow, rather than a ’must do’. Directors can be unaware of their compliance requirements or gaps in their systems until changes are required after an incident or audit. This where Cara can help.
With extensive experience of guiding our clients through many compliance areas, such as Cyber Essentials, PCI and GDPR, Cara is able to actively manage the processes and procedures required and streamline the path to compliance.
Our clients come from a variety of specialisms but we are particularly well-known for our work supporting theatres and theatre companies, arts venues, galleries and orchestras and an increasing number of museums and attractions from the heritage sector. With over 20 years of experience working with big names and small, we know what your industry-specific challenges will look like and we have the expertise to provide the solutions.
